There's been a Kona Blue GT Premium auto with options too for sale at American Car Imports for months at £29,950, it's down to £28,500 now. Makes me wonder how they're going to shift all the unsold new 2010's that are around, should be some bargains about soon now they've all got 2011's :D

Don't forget, come Jan 1st, the 2011s will be 2.5% more expensive, too :(

OK, he's one for you.

Would you go for:

A - 2011 V6 (3.7 litres and 305bhp - with excellend fuel consumption)

B - 2010 V8 (4.6 litres and 315bhp - with an excellent exhaust note)

Assuming both are similar prices.

I'd still go for the V8

The thing with the 2010 i think, is that as soon as you've bought one, ther will come the moment where you say 'I wish i waited and bought a 2011 5.0!'

(if just for that badge alone...)

I'd be quite happy with a 2010 V8, the 4.6 is fine for what I use it for which is mainly going all over the bloody country to where the events are

Just waiting for the prices to drop some more, I paid £16,250 for mine 2 and a half years ago, hopefully it's worth almost that now so getting a new one for another £10/11 grand is quite appealing ;)

EDIT

American Car Imports one now £28,500 !

Same car, different colour and engine £38,950 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1910223.htm

For me, the problem with the 2010 is it lacks the good looks of the 2005-2009 and lacks the 5.0 engine which is the new model's only saving grace (for me, again) so I think it's going to be the great unloved transition model and you'll lose more on depreciation than what you save on outlay.

Largely academic for me as despite concluding the 2011 5.0 Mustang is undoubtedly the "best" they've ever made and doubtless the best of the muscle cars, I could never buy one based on the looks which, for me, is a terminal blockage.

Fed up with looking at it so thought I'd drop the price as far as I could to sell it.

Not stock, but optional from the factory (or at least the Ford dealer).
